We’ve designed a series of projects that explore the historical stories behind some of the more traditional, well-loved knit patterns. This is the first kit in our history series, where we share the history with you and add a modern twist to make it wearable today.
Our Lusekofte sweater is modeled after a traditional Norwegian sweater. We’ve added some updated details such as set in shoulders, knitted facings around the cuffs and placket, and a ribbed hem. But other elements such as traditional flower, mountain, snowflake, and geometric motifs have remained the same.
