HEAVENLYFATHER?

In this world, there is only one true and living God. God is Spirit. He is not made of gold or silver or stone or wood by the hands of man. He is the Creator of heaven and earth. Man is created by God. God is in heaven. Man is on earth! How can man on earth know God who is in heaven?

All of us are sinners. All sinners must die. Death is the evidence that we are sinners. All of us are born sinners too. That is why babies also die! We have lied. We have cheated. We have disobeyed our parents. When sinners die they go to Hell.

We need to know God before we die so that we do not have to go to Hell. How do we know God? Man cannot reach God by his own inventions. God must help us know Him. To do that God must help us get rid of our sins. He did. He sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for us. Jesus came to be a man to save us. He was born of the virgin Mary nearly 2,000 years ago.

God sent Jesus Christ to die for us because God loves us. If Jesus did not come to die for our sins then we must die for our own sins and go to Hell. But God does not wish to see anyone in Hell. He wants us to know Him as our Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ was punished on the cross of Calvary because of your sins and my sins. Jesus Christ was without sin and He should not have died. But because of our sins He died.

But sinners must accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour for them to be saved. Once their sins are cleansed and forgiven, by the precious blood of Jesus, God’s wrath is removed and the sinner is forgiven. God’s holy justice is met. God will not allow that sinner to perish but give him or her everlasting life.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoso-ever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

So children, what must you do? You must pray to God to forgive you of your sins. Ask Him to forgive you of all the wrong things you have done. God will cleanse and forgive you.

Pray this prayer sincerely from your heart and you will be saved.

O God almighty, I confess thatI am a sinner before Thee.

I deserve to be punished for my sins and be sent to Hell. Be merciful to me O God.

Thank you for sending Jesus Christ to die for me and to take away all my sins. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour with all my heart. I want you to be my Heavenly Father.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
