Offers service to 57 schools including Primary, Intermediate, Secondary, Area and Integrated Kura/Schools

Comprises of a team of 19 RTLB - experienced teachers with Post Graduate RTLB qualifications

Managed by a Cluster Manager, and Principal (Motueka South School)

Provides support for learners from Early Intervention—Y10 whose achievement in learning is not being fully realised

Works within a collaborative, ecological model with school personnel, families/whanau, MOE, and agencies

REQUEST FOR SERVICE

Schools make a Request for Service on the NBRTLB website

1. Prior to submitting a Request for Service, teachers consult with the learner’s, family, colleagues, SENCO, Principal.

2. SENCO discusses the Request for Service with their liaison RTLB.

3. SENCO obtains written parent consent, and submits form.

4. NBRTLB endeavour to allocate requests promptly.

Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autism, Foetal Alcohol
