This case is from my file of records. A native approached me on 01-07-2005 to ask me whether

there are some prospects for him to have a job change. I later learnt that he had a job offer in

hand and was internally targeting at it.

The matter was taken up for scrutiny at 12:09:07 Hrs on 01-07-2005. There was no urge to take

any horary number from him and the chart was prepared for the time, the native approached

me and asked the query.

The Horary time chart is as follows :

Co-ordinates of judgment:

The prospects in a horary chart relating to the profession are primarily governed by the 10H, as this

house decides the way the flow of karma takes place for matters relating to profession. The indications

of 10th cusp are then verified by the examination of 6th cusp as it indicates the job in hand. In case if

the ambition of the native under the framework of prashna is to be realized, the 11th cusp should support

the matter in full.

In this query related to a job change, it is evident that the querent has already a job from where the change is

sought, thus the 6th cusp in such a prashna chart relates to the present job.

In case, if the job has to be changed, the 5H should operate to leave the present job (6H) and 9H should operate

to indicate the disruption of the already existing flow of Karma. Thus, in principle, the 10th sub-lord should signify

5-9H to leave the job and 2-6-10-11H to get a new job simultaneously. These indications shall fructify to realization

in proper spread of dasha-bhukti in line with the transits.

In this case study, the 10th and 6th house refer to the present job in which the native is placed.

The Query:Fundamentally, in any prashna, the lagna indicates the query, while the Moon indicates the status of mind and the

matter on which the querist dwells about.

Look to the lagna SbL-Rahu, which is placed in the star of Mercury (1-10L) placed in 10H. Mercury as 10L placed

in 10H establishes that the query relates to the profession.

Moon itself gets placed in 8H indicating a sense of choking and frustration. Moon falls in the star of Venus, which

is placed in the 10H again establishing the frustration relating to the present profession.

Thus, the question is taken as well indicated in the prashna chart and it was comfortable to proceed further.

Analysis :

1. Examine the clustering of 10H by way of the placement of 10th lord Mercury, 9th lord Venus, 5th lord Sat and

12th lord Sun. This, in principle, indicates focus on the professional domain and some scope of change in profession.

Let this be closely looked at.

2. Examine the 10th cusp to delineate the professional indications. In case, if the native has to change the job, the

10the sub-lord should signify the 5-9H.

Saturn is the 10th sub-lord, which is placed in its own star and sub. The Saturn is the strong lord of 5th and 6th

house and by its placement in 10H means that the 10th sub-lord signifies 10-5-6H. Till now, the situation seems

encouraging due to some possibility of leaving the present job (5H) and get into a new job (6-10H). Saturn being

in its own sub affirms it.

3. Look to the 6th cusp, which refers the present job. In case if the native has to leave the present job for another

one, the 6th cusp should signify 5-9H (to leave the present job) and 2-6-10H (to get a new job).

In this case, the 6th sub-lord is Mercury. Mercury (lord of 1-10th houses) is in the star of Saturn (lord of 5-6th

houses) and both Mercury and Saturn are placed in 10H. Thus 6th sub-lord Mercury signifies 10-5-6-1H that also

keeps open the possibility of a job change (5H) and get into a job (6-10H). However, the 6th sub-lord Mercury

falls in the sub of Sun, which as 12L gets placed in 10H, meaning that the job change either could take place in a

totally new environment or could be in a foreign land or it may not be beneficial to him or may not happen.

4. Just to cross check whether the job-change would be possible, examine the 5-9th cusps. Incidentally, Rahu hap-pens to be the sub-lord of both these cusps.

Since, Rahu is a node, it is advisable to examine Rahu by itself, then by Mars with whom it is conjunct, by its start

lord- Mercury and by the house lord Jupiter in whose house it is placed.

Rahu in 7H, in the star of 10L-Mercury placed in 10H does not support the job change. Mars as 8th lord and

Jupiter as 7th lord make the Rahu to be yet an difficult planet for a job change. Since, Rahu falls in its own sub, it

gets more firm in its decisions.

Mercury is already analyzed above which presents some hopes.

Thus, the 5-9th cusps by the consensus of majority do not support a job change.

5. Even though, the 10th and 6th Cusps have shown the possibility of a job change, but yet both the cusps have

not shown any linkage to the 11th cusp without which, the desire of job change cannot be fulfilled.

Now, take a look at the 11th cusp, which rule the overall prospects of the prashna (in this case, a job change).

The 11th sub-lord is Moon. The Moon falls in the star of Venus, which gets placed in 10H as 2-9L. Since, both 2nd

and 9th houses are vacant, the Venus would have strong lordship of these houses. Moon through stellar significa-

tions of Venus keeps the options of a job change open because of its significations of 9H.

Incidentally, Moon falls in its own sub, which has a purview to decide whether the matter indicated by 11th sub-

lord Moon through its star-lord Venus would materialize or not. Note carefully that Moon in the capacity as a sub-

lord strongly signifies 8H by its placement in 8H and being in its own sub, thereby negating the indications of 9H

given by Venus as well as causing a lot of frustration (8H). Here, the supremacy of sub level signification is proved

beyond doubt.

6. Take a look at Fortuna, which falls in 11H in the star of Saturn and sub of Rahu.

The stellar indications of Fortuna through Saturn do promise for a job-change similar to what has been discussed

at #2 above.

Rahu as sub-lord has the purview to over-rule the stellar significations of Fortuna, as detailed in #4. Thus, Fortuna

would not be able to favor the fructification of job change.

7. Take a look at dasha sequence. Venus-Moon-Moon was running at the time of prashna. Dasha lord Venus is

aptly justified to signify the matter of job-change as analyzed above. The bhukti and antara of Moon was conduciveof building hopes for a job change as discussed, although not fructifying ultimately.

Some facts of the case :

• Take a close look at the onset of Moon bhukti in the dasha of Venus on 15-05-2005. Since, Moon is 11th sub-

lord and signifies 2-9-10H by stellar signification through Venus, it might create an opportunity for a job-change.

On enquiry from the querent, it was learnt that the job offer had been obtained about a month back.

• The querent submitted a formal resignation on 15-07-2005 when the dasha of Venus-Moon-Mars was operative.

Since, resignation is a document relating to leaving the job, the 7th house may be considered to operate, as it is

the 3rd house from the 5th.

It may be noted that both bhukti lord-Moon and antara lord Mars were transiting in the star of Mars and Rahurespectively but both the planets were placed in 7H in the prashna chart, thereby giving no result.

• The querent had withdrawn the resignation on 10-08-2005 within the dasha of Venus-Moon-Mars. It may be

noted that the bhukti lord-Moon was transiting in the star of Moon on that day, placed in 8H in the prashna chart

putting the native to disgust and dishonor when he took back the resignation. Mars was transiting

in the star of Venus placed in 10th house as 9th lord and the native kept on mentioning his credentials of his leaving

the job for a long time.

Conclusion :

The KP principles are always reliable and crystal clear, although, it requires genuine efforts for under-

standing and applying. Prof. Krishnamurthy has devised a pioneering predictive model in predictive as-

trology, which deserves sincere appreciation.

On the morning of 23rd July my father lost my bike’s key with some speculative mind.He was

quiet confused for where the key he had put whether in the shirt or cupboard and so many al-

ternatives was told.I decided to solve this speculation by horary and was guided by the almighty.

Rule for getting the Key of a Bike:

(1) Any kind of stable or immovable things will be scrutinized by for 4th cusp. As far as con-

cerns to this matter of key which belongs to the vehicle,we are well aware that 4th cusp will

take place for further assessment.11th cusp will tell whether it will be yes or no.

(2)These two(4H & 11H) should be supplement to each other.For the matter which is going to fructify within a

quick or an hour or a day,it will be assessed by sublord,star lord and ascendant lord respectively which are coming

as its signification.

by its conjunction,steller level and rashi lordship. Star lord Sa is in 11 alone and it is lord of 5 & 6. So 4th cusp is

also describing the matter in the favour of getting the key by its signification to 11th . Sub lord Me placed 10 and

owns an ascendant.

• On the day of judgement,Sub lord of Mo(for todays timing of event) is Su in RP and significators both. So I got

some confidence for getting the key on the same day. But when,to determine the same we’ll scrutinize on Ascen-

dent, its star lord and sublord by looking respective transit.

• From here,first we will determine an ascendant by its stellar level. At the time of judgement at 10:26:40 am,an

asc of Kanya was running on 4d-18m-23s. Me(Lord of Kanya) has nothing to do by its contribution because of

my previous saying in 11th cusp that the matter of fructification would not be done within once or an hour. Up-

coming Ve(lord of Tula) & Ma(lord of Vrishchik) have also the same role to do in this picture.

• Next coming rashi for an ascendant is Dhanu which has a lordship of Ju. If Dhanu rashi found with its fruitfull

stars we would stop here to crack the sub. Dhanu rashi have nakshatras of Mula, Purvashadha and Uttarashadha

Indian stock market has two different plateform where (1)ventures(national or foreign), (2)in-

vesters and (3)brokers are meeting and fulfiling their ambitions. These two are NSE(National

Stock Exchange) & BSE(Bombay Stock Exchange). The SEBI(Stock Exchange Board Of India)

has power to control both of these by favouring the profit of above mentioned three. Now SEBIis deciding to coordinate BSE with an american and another foreign market for definite profit.

BSE & NSE is opening from 9:55 am but SEBI had decided to change the timings of BSE from

17th Dec 2009,at 9:00 am for testing the circumstances. “BSE Brokers Forum” have 550 mem-

ber and from them 79% members are opposing the timing change at 9:00 am. Now SEBI has

put new timings start from 4th Jan 2010, at 9:00 am in front of the forum and request them to wait & watch. Forum

president Shri Bhanubhai Fojdaar has told that the market fraternity will not get straight profit by this 9 am

timings, but SEBI is adamant.

Shri Kanak Bosmia is a one who has revealed a new, unique and novel technique for Muhurat in KP. The

book has inspired me to assess Muhurat of BSE & NSE’s new timings whether it will be auspicious or not.

New Timings For BSE’s Trading:4/1/2010, 9 am, Mumbai(18-57 N,72-49 E)

Muhurat Rule For Start An Auspicious Trading: (KP Muhurat,page No:124)

(1) Asc sublord should signify 1,5,9,11 for long life of event

(2) 10th CSL should signify 2,10,11.

(3) 11th CSL should signify 2,10,11

(4) 2nd CSL should signify 2,10,11

(5) Do not select Chara Lagna

(6) Dasa & Bhukti should signify 2,6,10,11.

Note:In Chara lagna 11th cusp(most auspicious bhava) plays the role of Badhaka, so it will negate the long life of

event. We will find a chara lagna in this particular event.

Rule-1: Asc sublord should signify 1,5,9,11 for long life of event.

Rule-5: Do not select Chara Lagna

1st CSL: Sa(8,l/o 1,2)-in star Mo(7,l/o7)-sub Mo(7,l/o7)

(1) An ascendant sign is chara(movable) by being Makara and its sub lord signifies maraka repeatedly. From here,

it is good enough to take u-turn for not getting an auspicious lagna for long life of event, although we will assess

the entire soil of this lagna whether it is good or not.

(2)First of all, event should be healthy & pleasant by its origin. The origin is Sa, no planet in the star of Sa, its place-

ment in 8H signifying down graph of sensex, long term investment, destructive loss, loss to investors & brokers& infamy to Indian market & SEBI. Sa is CSL of 1H, 2H & 8H, consequently it would give unfavourable results

strongly. 2H & 7H are maraka for the long life of event.

5th CSL: Ma(7,l/o 4,11)-in star Me(12,l/o 6,9)-sub Ra(12,8,6,9,5,11)

5th cusp shows how immunity & harmony will been occur in the event. The scrutiny of Ma at the stellar level

apparently indicate the event will be done without 1st cusp (self) and it places in 7(Maraka), owns 11(Badhaka)

for short longevity of event & 4. Star lord Me is close to Su(12, l/0 8 -damages).No planet in the star of sub lord

Ra which places in 12(Loss, expenditure) and moreover Ra is in Su star(8,12),therefore Ra is strong a significator

of 8 & 12.

Rule-2:10th CSL should signify 2,10,11

10th CSL:Ve(11,l/o 10,5)-in star Ve(11,l/o 10,5)- sub Ma(7,l/o 4,11)

The big motto or a hard line of any business is to get profit. In this particular,10th cusp would signify 2(Monetary

gain) & 10(being active in business). Ve is in self constellation being a strong significator of 11 for gain and profit

We have already discussed Ma as above. Ma is badhaka for longevity of event but its signification of 6 & 11 houses

would be beneficial for business.

Rule-4: 2nd CSL should signify 2,10,11

2nd CSL: Sa(8,l/o 1,2)-in star Mo(7,l/o 7)-sub Mo(7,l/o 7)

The flow of money(2nd cusp) will continue only when one will active in work(10th cusp),consequently it will ap-

preciated if 2nd cusp would signify 10th.Ventures, investors and brokers are shaking hands only for what ? “Money”.

By being 2nd CSL, Sa has no planet in its star and placed in 8(sudden loss, infamy in business, stucking of money,

scandal). Its star and sub lord Mo owns/places in 7(Maraka) unfavourable for longevity of event.

Rule-6: Dasa & Bhukti should signify 2,6,10,11

Dasa-Bhukti(Soil for Event)

Dasa Lord Ke(1,2,3,5,6,8,9,10,12)-in star Ju(1,3,12)-sub Ve(11,10,5)

Ke signifying 6th ,which is affirmative for competional gain, but being an agent of more negative planets, a little af-

firmation transforms in negation. Its constellation lord Ju signifying 1(12th to 2nd) & 12(expenditure), moreover

sublord Ve has mixed nature of giving results.

Bhukti Lord Ra(12,8,6,9,5,7,11,1,3)-in star Su(12,8)-sub Mo(7)

No planet is in the constellation of Ra signifying 12(money loss, expenditure of investment) strongly. Star lord Su

places in 12 and owns 8(stucking of money, death profit, benefit to others). Sub lord Mo is signifying 7(Maraka)

and moreover Bhukti lord Ra is 12th cuspal sublord.

Conclusion:

(1) All the rules for Muhurat of the event at stellar level and dasa-bhukti are not much beneficial.

(2) The event would not be auspicious at all for the entire platform (BSE & NSE) and SEBI may have to

change it anytime without waiting.

pleasant breezes, Jup not a still planet like the Sun but Jup is not violent. Because his influence

is so powerful, his own influence is toward mild breezes. Rahu is in Makar Rasi, It is the sign

which, more than any other brings blizzards. It increases the wind force when dominant in an

Star and Sublord Ketu represent Karka as a sign lord, Karka is ruled by the Moon, which tends

to restlessness and breezes, its influence is toward silence. It is the only one of the movablesigns having such an influence, as Mesha gives some wind, Tula is windy, and Makara gives wind

and storm. The silence is not so evident as that of Vrishabha and Shimha, but enough so that it

can be considered as a sign tending toward calm weather.

All sinario give us clear picture that temperature will not be too hot, but very average and

Starlord Mar In relation to wind, Mars indicates some movement. Mars is not a windy planet, but

assists action. Mars has a dry influence. Mar is in sign of Mesha, Because Mars and Mesha are

both so restless and active we need not be surprised that this movable sign gives some wind. Wemay consider it only fairly windy, however, in comparison with Mithuna, Kanya, Tula and Makara,

which are windier, and in comparison with those signs which are calm.

Sublord is Ven, Venus has a moderating influence. If the previous weather was hot, Venus tends

to cool it, if the previous weather was cold, Venus tends to warm things up. Venus’s influences on

wind is similar, Venus encourages mild movement of the atmosphere, but discourages wild

movement and storms. Ven is in sign of Mesha, and about Mesha we discuss above.

In above data we can see that high degree temperature was 42 and low is 40, indicate high thenlast Air movement chart. Ven play roll in this chart also Mesha and Mar indicate hot weather.

In the 5th chart 4th CSL is Sat, Sat is in the star of Ven and sub of Sat.

Saturn has a similar extreme influence on the wind. He is a still planet, tending normally toward

cold, damp weather without breezes. Sat is in the sign of Mesha, Next to Vrishabha it is the

stillest sign of all. In so far as it has power to do so it stifles wind. Thus it is a fine influence in

winter, warming the atmosphere and quieting the breezes. Of all the zodiacal signs Mesha and

Shimha are the most dry. Mesha is prominent in a chart that shows much rain.

consistently gives beneficial rains. Ven is in the sign of Vrishabha, Vrishabha is a fixed sign, the

most fixed of all the signs. This stabilizing influence marks it effect in an Air Movement Chart.

More than any other sign, Vrishabha tends to calm weather in which not a breath of air stirs.

Therefore, Vrishabha is main sign in an Air Movement Chart, it tends to stop winds.Sublord is Sat and we discuss about it.

Mer in this Chart, Mercury’s influence is ‘Cold’; Mercury is the chief ruler over winds. Mercury is

inclined towards dry weather; Mer is in karaka, Although Karka is ruled by the Moon, which

tends to restlessness and breezes, its influence is toward silence. It is the only one of the

movable signs having such an influence, as Mesha gives some wind, Tula is windy, and Makara

gives wind and storm. The silence is not so evident as that of Vrishabha and Shimha, but enough

so that it can be considered as a sign tending toward calm weather.

Mer is inj the star of Jup. Where Wind is concerned, he tilts towards pleasant breezes, Jup

not a still planet like the Sun but Jup is not violent. Because his influence is so powerful, his own

influence is toward mild breezes. Jup is in the sign of Kumbha, Although it is a fixed sign, it

tends to some movement of the air. Moderate breezes are characteristic of it, except when thechart is a violent one otherwise in which case, as mentioned, it makes for excessive cold and

driving wind that drifts the snow in blinding clouds.

Sublord is Moon, In the relation to Temperature chart, Moon is 'Cool'. It does not give

excessive cold like Saturn, but temperatures are chilly. Where rain is concerned, Moon is the

wettest of all planets. Moon is in the sign of Meena. Where the Air Movement Chart is

concerned, it tends toward calm weather. In this respect it is not so powerful as Vrishabha and

Shimha but, nevertheless, it tends to moderate whatever windy influences are present. It is

consistently a wet sign, but not given to the downpours that Karka occasions, nor to the floods

and disagreeable storms indicated by Makara. In a chart which shows storms, if important, it

merely indicates that much rain will accompany the violence shown. But when free from extreme

influences, it causes those rains which are' seasonable' and of marked benefit to the crops.

In above data we can see that this days are rainy days, and chart also indicate Rainy days.

In next month I will try to predict advance prediction of weather using Moisture chart too.

1. There are different TOBs for the Bill Gates because the AstroDatabank TOB 10:00 PM is only A rated, not AAby BC and BR as provided in the following link, and another floating TOB of after 9:00 PM is also mentioned there.http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Gates%2C_Bill

2. In my study ‘Why They are Rich?’ in KPE-zine Nov 2009, all ten TOBs (10:00 PM for Gates) are taken form the

AstroDatabank source for the sake of consistency.

3. In our another study the TOB of 21:15:18 is found to be satisfied with the 2nd cuspal sub lord Mars’s favorablesignification of 2,6,10,11 houses along with the least unfavorable signification of 5,8,12 houses. It is almost the same

as 21:15:30 PM taken by Murthy ji.

4. In the Nadi Astrology, Accurate Predictive Methodology by Umang Taneja, 2002, pp 130-131, Gates’ success is

justified by the signification of 2,6,10,11 by almost all planets except Venus, other than taking consideration of 2ndor/and 11th cuspal sublord only. Without given the birth details or the Ascendant position there, it is not known

how TOB 20-58 PM is got.

5. In the Astrology for Life by David Hawthorne, V.K. Choudhry, 1999, p 170, Bill Gate’s chart is analyzed by theSA approach using TOB 9:01:19 PM rectified by V.K. Choudhry and the chart is used on the cover of the book.

6. In the Sanjay Rath’s books (for example Collected Papers in Vedic Astrology, 2006, pp 218-219), Gates’ chartof TOB 21:21:29 PM is analyzed by Vedic along with yogas.

7. In short Gates’s chart has been analyzed by using the different TOBs but the conclusion is found more or less

the same because it has been justified by different systems, KP, Nadi, SA, Vedic etc. and by a little different approachor assumption even in the same system.

8. KP is the sub lord theory only. The sub lord is the deciding factor in the signification of a planet as a cuspal sub

lord of the concerned house in considering whether an event is promised or not, or as a dasa lord in fixing thetiming of event according to the following KP fundamental rule:

“The planet is the source, constellation indicates nature of the result and the sub is a deciding factor whetherthe matter is favourable or not.” -- Krishnamurti Padhdhati, Vol. 2, 1966, Sagar Publications, p 41/ KP Reader III,

9. A planet in its own sub is strong as the signification at both levels of planet and sub is the same. A planet having

no planets in its stars is a strong significator of the house which it occupies and the house(s) owned by that planet,if they are empty. That planet also becomes a strong significator of the house(s) for it is a cuspal sub lord.

10. Generally 5,8,12 are supposed to be loss in business. But it is not so conclusive in the findings of the study‘Why they are rich?”, especially 5th house signification seems to be positive for having the intelligence to carryout the planning to be rich for those ten self made billionaires. It is open to further research with more sample

charts.

All articles in the issue are nice and educative for a

new comer and refresher for the K.P practitioners. Onesmall suggestion sir, the titles of the articles andnames of authors of the articles may kindly be printedwith red colour as the colours used now are not allow-ing to know the names of articles and their authors

Thanks for your mail; there are certain design aspects

to be followed while designing an electronic book (eBook) or Digital Book. KP-Ezine is an eBook i.e.meant for reading, enjoying and acquiring knowledgeonscreen without a need for print edition / publication.

If it is a print edition, naturally most of the contentswill be in black colour, but it is in an eBook format,hence wherever titles appear, use of multi colour stylemakes reading a pleasant experience and also en-hance its aesthetics. In multi colour format, different background and foreground colours gives it colour match.

Main purpose, advantage and feature of an eBook is to

eliminate usage of paper, a global eco issue. There aremany advantages in presenting it as an eMagazine i.e.

portable, shareable, archieving, no need to carry bulk printed books, cuts expenses on paper cost, printingink cartridge cost etc. While we value your sugges-tions, certain aspects, if we change, may reduce itsaesthetics and elegance. Hope this clarifies font colour issue and you will understand the design require-ments.
