Vincent Kraft is an artistic photographer who likes to provoke your imagination. His eyes look for what will urge his audience on to disconnect from this world and invent their own.

Born in the suburbs of Paris, this is where he understood that the power of images lies in their ability to influence. He exploits their propensity to turn the same element into heaven or hell, catalysing your indignation. This idea has sharpened itself along his trips such as in Dubai, a wonderful Eden with a disturbing underworld.

Giving equal importance to both spontaneity and experimentation, Vincent Kraft likes to take risks by thinking outside the box. Black and white, 3D, silver, and lomography: a creative versatility that allows him to build architectures made of perspectives and vanishing points. He definitely is an original character, which is not a surprising when you look at his main sources of inspiration: Arno Rafael Minkkinen, Nick Brandt, but also Jackson Pollock and Christopher McCandless.

Vincent Kraft has since gained international recognition. His career has been marked by the publication of numerous photographs in books, and also by three personal exhibitions: “A2 pas du Louvre” in Paris, “Inside Your Skin” in Cardiff and “4 Seas 4 Sights” at the Washington Gallery.

Men build their universes as scars on the surface of a planet they upset on a daily basis, like a constant affront to our eyes and streets. These photographs are the witnesses of the brutality of our urban environments, to which the screams of concrete are an inextinguishable echo.

Sometimes, in the heart of our cities, a short lull allows us to forget the effervescence that overwhelms us. This series is a tribute to these rare moments that remind us that life is not only a maze of streets and walls. It is, far beyond a meaning we try to define, something absolutely prodigious.

In the course of randomness

O O7

From time to time, luck or the randomness of a gesture can give life to an unexpected vision. on this glossy paper, you can then discover sceneries of light, superimposed smiles, dreamlike constructions. Be fast! Don’t think! These commandments have turned lomography into a never-ending source of poetry.

From instinct rises authenticity

Beauty doesn’t need artifice, and sometimes a photographer must get back to the basics of his art in order to better capture it. These pictures will remind you of those from the early twentieth century, from a Paris of the workers to a New York of the dancers, where photographers had everyday life as their only muse.

Enumerate the elements of a world

These are actual slices of life that reveal a complex meshing of fragments of memories. You will be looking for that magical moment when, in the middle of the unexpected organization of this shambles, you catch a glimpse of reminiscence. This series is an addition of mazes, the courses of which are nothing more than our own internal journeys.

The appeal of a return to basics

Nature is the last kingdom of nudity, an Eden where the snake and apple have not betrayed us yet. It reveals itself under its most beautiful lights, as an arrow that strikes our retina and reminds us that “common” is never synonymous with “normal.”

Sometimes, the original picture surprises you when you’re not prepared. Time, place, subject. Nothing is absolutely foreseeable and that’s what its beauty is all about. This series shows how technology helps us to catch what we would have wanted to seize in a heartbeat.

In between unions and divisions

Religion numbs our intellectual abilities in the manner of opium, a paradox that federates as much as it splits. It communicates and excommunicates. This series shows the everyday impact of beliefs on our cultures. Through questioning. Not judging.

Sometimes it takes more than two dimensions to render what touches the spirit and the heart. This third dimension is the one that transforms the field of the frame, offering new perspectives to it. This dimension helps the artist to highlight every vanishing point.

All change please

Machines are our exoskeletons. Sometimes they make us stronger, sometimes even more handsome, and always serve us as metallic slaves until their death. This next series is the illustration of this subservience, all along an existence devoted to being someone else’s engine.

Vincent Kraft is more than an artist. It is a whole team. Beyond our creative propositions, we are committed to democratizing art, to give to the greatest number of people an access to its promotion, its comprehension, and its acquisition. Therefore, following us is not only following an artist as fascinating as impassioned : it is looking at a brand new conception of sharing art.
