Proceedings of the 4th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of the Maize Technologists Association of India (MTAI) held at the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bengaluru on 11th April, 2016 4th Annual General Body meeting (AGM) of the Maize Technologists Association of India (MTAI) was held on 11 th April, 2016 at the Auditorium of the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bengaluru (Karnataka). The meeting was chaired by Dr. A.K. Singh, Joint Secretary, MTAI. The meeting started with welcome address by Dr. A.K. Singh. The chairman requested Dr. Ishwar Singh, Treasurer, MTAI to present the general progress and the financial status of the association. Dr. Ishwar Singh acquainted the. house with the general progress of the association since its inception in 2011 and informed the house that the MTAI has been registered as national society with the Registrar of Societies, New Delhi and a certificate to this effect was issued to the association on 27.11.2015. Dr. Ishwar Singh further put up the following amendments Icorrections in constitution for approval of the General Body, which were approved by the house after brief discussion. The house also decided to organize 1 st Indian Maize Conference (lMC) during November 2016 and authorized the EC to decide the venue and duration of 1st IMC.
