• Mozart never stopped writing music• He wrote music for piano and violin• He wrote for orchestras and singers, 'chamber music' for a

quartet (4 players) as well as church music• He is best known for writing operas• He wrote more than 600 pieces of music

Some examples of his music

• Serenade No. 13 "Eine Kleine Nacht-Musik" It may also be oneof the most well known pieces of classical music ever written

• Overture to "The Marriage of Figaro" Possibly one of the mostmoving and famous opera overtures of all time

• Rondo Alla Turca -The piece actually consists of threemovements with the rondo coming last, being popularlyreferred to as the "Turkish Rondo"
