Population – 2016 Public Health England Data

The population of Kursaal Ward in 2016 was 11,585.

The population of Kursaal Ward was 11,600 in 2014. This represents a 0.1% decrease from

2014 to 2016.

Health – 2011 Census Data

178 residents said they were in very bad health. This was 1.6% of the population which was

slightly higher than for Southend as a whole, at 1.3%.
