If the rear of the motorcycle is equipped with any incandescent lights that were not original equipment, such lights must be spliced into the wiring harness ahead of the Panacea control module. Police Models are often equipped with additional lights not found on their civilian counterparts. Be aware that these lights must be rewired, removed, or converted to L.E.D. prior to installing a Panacea system.3. The Panacea Taillight System meets FMVSS #108 when operated in DOT Mode. There is no provision in FMVSS #108 for flashing brake or amber arrows so those features are disabled when operated in DOT Mode.4. Panacea Taillights can be used on 97-01 Dynas, 96-01 Fat Boy & FXST (except Deuce), & 99-01 XL Models, but they must be used with stock turn signals. Panacea Turn Signals are not available for these applications.

Halogen Silver Bullets & Single function Deep Dish L.E.D. Style Silver Bullets have a single power wire & ground through their mount.

Dual function Deep Dish L.E.D. Style Silver Bullets have three wires. They cannot be used for run-brake applications because they do not change intensity.

When installing Halogen Silver Bullets as driving lights, we recommend using our Wiring & Relay kits (P/N K2328 or P/N K2202 - pg 105-106) to avoid overloading the motorcycles running light circuit.

Note: There is no need to use a Load Equalizer with Halogen Silver Bullet kits. Although Silver Bullet lights are extremely bright & highly visible, the installation of this product may be in violation of FMVSS #108 & not intended as a replacement for stock turn signals.
