The purpose of the advertisement.

Identifies target audience and also link information in the advert to own experiences.

Past Tense

Activity 1: Fill in the past tense of each word given in brackets. Re-write the paragraph in your

separate book.

Love for trains Herbie loves trains !

He first _______________ (see) a train when he was five years old and he _______________

(be) absolutely fascinated. He _______________ (go) to a different train station every week and
