F.A.Q.’sSustainability• How long will the PVC or HDPE hoarding panels last?

– In our experience we expect the hoarding systems to last a minimum of 10 years

• How long will the frame system last?– Again a minimum of 10 years

• What are the frames made of?– Frames are made of galvanised or powder coated steel

• How many times can it be re-used without being refinished or repainted?– The panels can be re-used many times depending on site conditions

• What is the cost of that refurbishment/repainting?– Minimal

• Does the PVC or HDPE panel warp, rot or expand like wood does?– No, the panels do not degrade or distort throughout its life

• How does that make the graphics look i.e. is they distorted and out of line?– High definition vinyl graphics are applied to the panels and will remain

there with out fading or warping for the whole of its life• Are the boards with graphics reusable?

– Yes absolutely, only need to be changed if the marketing message is changed

Waste management• Will the materials go to land fill and the end of a project?

– No, all materials are reusable and can be dismantled, returned to the Kwik-Klik warehouse and stored ready for the next project

• Will the material go to a bio mass burner at the end of the project?– No all materials are reusable, should they be deemed unfit for

purpose at the end of a project they will be sent to a plastic recycling centre for re-processing

• Are the posts and rails re-usable and fully retrievable from the concrete base? – Yes, we use a plastic sleeve embedded in the concrete to house

the upright; plus the hole in the concrete footing can be capped off or filled in. No need to dig it out of the ground

• What happens to the nails and screws?– Kwik Klik’s unique reusable clip support system means no nails

are used. Screws are used in the ultraspan system however they remain with the panels and frames for there whole of life

• Will the graphic panels be recycled or sent to landfill?– A panel when its’ passed its useful life after 10 years will be sent to

PVC recycling plant
