" ap-pears, the interest is general within the respective grouP. "LEPI:O." is used .... here interests include all three of the above groups. Follo .... ing the interests among taxonomi'i:) groups are the other aspects of lepid-opterology in which the member is interested. The member's name preceded by an asterisk (w) indicates Charter Membership; his name in capital letters indicates Sustaini:rlg Membership. The word "Nearctic" here means America north of Mexico. For uniformity "Phalaenidae" is uS1"d for all cases, even though the equiva-lent name "Noctuldae" had been placed on the membership card by saine members. Similarly, Speyeria, Boloria, etc. are used for the NEARCTIC species formerly placed in Argvnnis, Brenthis, etc. The following abbrevia-tions are used,
