This CLE will discussU.S. v. Reynolds, in which the U.S. Suoreme Court first recognized the states secrets privilege, as well as litigation that sought to reopen the case 50 years after the fact; the gov- ernment's recent invocation of Reynolds in civil Cases to defeat claims based on alleged governmental wrongdoing; and judicial and legislative responses to the executive branch's increasedreliance on the state secrets doctrine. This year's awards will be presented May 15 at the Pennsylvania ConventionCenter. Bellingham has volunteered for more than 20 mostly music-related clients in- cluding the Philadelphia Clef Club and a record label.
