51 year partnership between Alcoa, Alcoans and Geelong

    43

Today is also the time to pay tribute to Alcoa. For while we hate itsdecision to leave, we also acknowledge the companyscontribution.

And even away from putting meals on workers tables, Alcoa has

given much to Geelong. It has been a very significant donor tomany projects in our community.

It is estimated that in its time here, Alcoa has given up to $2.3million to one charity alone. And as recently as Thursday night itwas doing it again giving out $590,000 in community grants.

For that, Alcoa, we say thank you for the giving and for the jobsover the past decades.
