Why? Aims & Objectives Re-cap prior learning of areas we
covered last lesson and so far for this unit. Establish what
stereotypes exist within the genre in terms of Gender roles and
audience expectations. Re-cap Character role theories YOU WILL be
familiar with (Propps character roles) and introduce some new
Character role theory (Monstrous Characters Neale & Krutnik)
Analyse a series of Case Study example from the Action-Adventure
genre. Review the learning. A02 Assess candidates ability to
analyse and respond to a short, unseen moving image extract using
media key concepts and appropriate terminology.
