Who is Factory LA? An incubator whose duty is to help with the development of entrepreneurial companies, for Made in LA fashion design and manufacturing. The belief of the company is to produce innovation through the process of innovation and organicall change the way products are made.

The refinement between products that are not from and are “Made in LA” products. Promotion and distinguished items that will launch this coming Summer 2013 in Los Angeles, California.

Named the City of Angels, Los Angeles is a leading world center of business, foreign trade, entertainment, culture, media, fashion, science, sports, education, and research. It has been ranked sixth in the Global Cities Index and 13th in the Global Power City Index.

It was founded on September 4, 1781, by the Spanish governor Felipe de Neve. Los Angeles became a part of Mexico in 1821, following the Mexican War of Independence. In 1848, at the end of the Mexican–American War, Los Angeles and the rest of California was purchased as part of the Guadalupe Hidalgo Treaty, becoming part of the United States.

Los Angeles is one of the biggest cities in California. The city is divided into over 80 districts and neighborhoods, many of which were incorporated places or communities that were adopted by the city. Greater Los Angeles includes a number of nearby communities.

The city is divided into the following areas: Downtown Los Angeles, East Los Angeles and Northeast Los Angeles, South Los Angeles, the Harbor Area, Greater Hollywood, Wilshire, Westside, and the San Fernando and Crescenta Valleys.

If you look at the total number of minorities in an area, Los Angeles comes out on top. Los Angeles County has more Hispanic residents, Asian residents, and Native American residents than any other in the nation. But that’s largely because Los Angeles County has more people, L.A. County has 9.8 million residents, nearly twice that of Illinois, the second largest city.

Racial diversity has been growing in Southern California mainly, but it might be reaching its peak, according to a new University of Southern California analysis.

As Asian and Latino populations continue to increase, cities with meaningful numbers of multiple races and ethnicities are increasing, especially in the suburbs outside of Los Angeles County.

Snooze alarm clock, fully awake around 7:30amShower, brush teeth, get dressed. Usually wears tights with shorts or a skirt, nice top and a black leather jacket. If its cold, then she would wear her favorite royal blue peacoat.

10AM Carpools with two of her cousins to school, traffic is heavy in the mornings. Mean while in the car, she does her make up. She likes to take make use of her time productive.

10:30AM Eat a PB&J sandwich or a burrito before class.

12PM Have lunch with sorority sisters, socialize.. Usually orders a chicken wrap or chicken sandwich with fries.

2PMWrite down tasks that need to be done, focus on what is priority. Begin doing homework or any work that needs to be done.

5PM Try to take a nap, sometimes eats dinner at the school’s cafeteria or goes out to eat with either her sorority sisters or her boyfriend.

7PM Continue with homework and assignments, but at the same time checking in with her social media.

11PM Gets picked up from school by one of her parents. Gets ready for bed as soon as she’s home and the day repeats itself the next day.

Q: Who or what influences what Almond produces for their typical everyday consumers?

A: A group of several different people are those who design the products. These people range from multi-talented surfers, skilled close friends, and even craftsmen that are met along the way.

Q: Has Almond recently had any contributors or partnered with someone to design with?

A: Earlier in the year, Yuta, from Shakasics Custom Planks helped design a new Almond Skateboard for 2013. He has done smaller designs, like graphic t-shirts but this time around it was more of a co-branded product. The board was completely handmade and was hand screen printed in Costa Mesa, CA.

Q: What are some of the benefis to producing and manufacturing all products as a company?

A: It is a very rewarding experi-ence to be able to see the piece develop from start to finsish, along with meeting new poeple and building relationships. Rela-tionships that later can be refered to as, for example all the different craftsmen and women that make the garments.
