What You Need8 oz. sour cream1 small packet powdered ranch dressing & seasoning mix5 tbsp Cajun seasoning, divided4 1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper, divided2 c self-rising flour1 tsp salt1 tsp black pepper1 egg1 c milk, add more if needed2 bags onion boilers, peeled1 bottle canola oil
Deep Fried Onion Balls w/Cajun Ranch Sauce
Directions• Pour oil into deep fryer and preheat to 400 degrees.
• In a medium bowl, add the sour cream, ranch packet, 1 tbsp of cajun seasoning, and 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper, mix well. Chill.• In a medium bowl add the flour, egg and milk. Mix well.
• Add 4 tbsp of cajun seasoning to the batter.
• Add 4 tbsp of cayenne.• Add salt and black pepper. Mix well.
• Take each onion boiler and coat with batter.
• Deep fry 1-2 min.• Drain on paper towel.• Enjoy with cajun ranch sauce!

Notice of Public Hearing City of La Feria
Application for Specific Use Permit
The City of La Feria will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 6:30 P.M. at the La Feria City Commission Meeting Room concerning the request for a Specific Use Permit from the La Feria Industrial Development Corporation for the sale of alcoholic beverages on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM during the Fiesta de La Feria celebration. The legal description where the alcoholic beverage sales will occur is Lot 17, Block 3, Original Townsite of the City of La Feria. The physical location is 124 East Commercial Avenue, La Feria, TX.
The purpose of this public hearing is to give all residents an opportunity to discuss this request, make their views known and voice any comments or concerns. Residents who are unable to attend the public hearing may submit written comments to Sunny K. Philip, City Manager at La Feria City Hall. Residents who require auxiliary aids or services to participate in this hearing should contact the City Secretary two days before the hearing so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
