OUR BEST! We all know the Epiphany as the story of the Three Wise Men bear-ing gifts as they followed the great star by night. “Epiphany” means appearance or

manifestation. When we say we have an “epiphany” we usually mean eureka or aha! The Wise Men were willing to follow what they had seen into unknown territory. Their journey took them outside their country and their “comfort zone”. So too for us, following the light of Christ will bring change and new experiences. And the Wise Men didn’t travel empty-handed. They did what was customary when visiting roy-alty. They brought gifts! Gold was the gift that you brought to a king. Frankincense was a gift you brought to a priest.

Myrrh was given to someone about to die. What gifts will i offer to God in this New Year of 2019?
