As a sacrifice of praise, the people of St. Josephine Bakhita’s parish theme

for our church year is “Every Member a Minister.”

“Making Up” “Making up” is a phrase used among Catholic people who sup-

port their church by using the parish envelope system.

When someone misses Mass they place their usual offering in

their envelope and set it aside. The next time they attend Mass, they

deposit two or more envelopes into the collection.

“Making up” is really not a burden or additional sacrifice; it is

simply a new habit. By adopting this method of weekly support, you

provide the parish with a stable and reliable income.

Stewardship Reflection ~ Stewardship Priority “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do

everything for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:31) Do a quick check of your priorities. Where does God rank in that

list? If He’s not first, you have some work to do. Stewards who put

God first in everything develop the attitude of “I am grateful for the

gifts God gave me” instead of “I want more”. For most people grat-

itude leads to generosity.

Passion Production If you would like to be a part of our “Passion Production” this year,

we will be having our first rehearsal on Saturday, February 21st at

9:30 am at St. Bart’s site in the church. Contact Person: Cheryl

Wright, (609) 605-5199.

ested in participating, please call SJOA rectory at (856) 962-8642 or

St. Bart’s rectory at (856) 365-0573 and leave your name and a con-

tact number you can be reached at. Pictures can be scanned at St.

Bart’s site between 8:30 & 10:30 am on February 8th & 15th. At
