FIGHT FOR FAMILY WAGE JOBS AND WORKING FAMILES Our region has the opportunity to build new export facilities that will create thousands of new family wage jobs and bring in billons of dollars in new investment. STAND WITH LABOR TO PUBLICLY DEMONSTRATE OUR SUPPORT FOR THE GATEWAY PACIFIC TERMINAL AND THE JOBS IT WILL CREATE! The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the WA Department of Ecology are holding public scoping hearings on the proposed Gateway Pacific Terminal project and we need you to attend. What: A chance to fight for family wage jobs and a strong Northwest economy at the scoping hearings for the Gateway Pacific Terminal project. When/Where: Ferndale Scoping Meeting Thursday, November 29 Premeeting rally: 2 PM; Meeting: 3–7 PM Ferndale Events Center, 5715 Barrett Road, Ferndale Spokane Scoping Meeting Tuesday, December 4 Premeeting rally: 3 PM; Meeting: 4–7 PM Spokane County Fairgrounds, 404 N Havana Street, Spokane Valley Vancouver Scoping Meeting Wednesday, December 12 Premeeting rally: 3 PM; Meeting: 4–7 PM Clark College, Gaiser Student Center, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver Seattle Scoping Meeting Thursday, December 13 Premeeting rally: 3 PM; Meeting: 4–7 PM Washington State Convention Center, 800 Convention Place, Seattle How: Show for the premeeting rally early, demonstrate your support (we’ll provide the tshirts, tickers and signs!), have fun. You do not need to stay for the entire hearing but we need you there early! Our brothers and sisters in the labor community across the state need these projects and they need our help. Please stand with us in solidarity to show that the Northwest supports strengthening our economy and creating new jobs for our communities by expanding our export capabilities.
