(a) StrategicGoal1:Tomaintainthecurrentlyenrolledstudentsandincreasethestudentenrollmentbyprovidingthenecessaryresourcesrequired.To maintain the quality and quantity of the desired students we strive toprovide them quality education with compact curriculum, highly qualifiedprofessionalfacultymembersandqualityadvisement.
a. Curriculum:Theprinciplegoalistoprovideourstudentswithpracticalknowledge and skillswhich is not only attractive to the students butalso impartourstudentswiththenecessaryskillsrequiredtoexcel intheirareaofspecialty. Tomakesuretheimplementationofpracticalknowledge, we have made field trips, startup-cups, project displaysnecessaryineverysemesteraccordingtothesubjectrequirement.
b. Faculty:Thebackboneofanyinstituteisthecompositionofitsfacultymembers. Management Sciences of Lahore Garrison Universityunderstandsthevitalityofdedicated,highlyqualifiedandprofessionalfacultymembers.OurfocusistohaveateamofPhD’swhoalsohaveasoundindustryexposure.Duringhiring,inadditiontothequalificationof a person all the factors like professionalism, approach towardspracticalknowledgeandtheindustryareallgivendueimportance.Forfaculty development, we arrange and attend different seminars(International Research Symposium), conferences (International SMEConferences)andtrainingprograms(trainthetrainer–IntroductiontoCIMA)atconstantintervals.
c. 4rweqAdvising: Quality advising is as important as the qualityofeducationprovided.Wehaveaproperplacementcenter,headedbyMs Saima Ahmed. Furthermore we also have a signed MOU withRozee.pk which immensely help students get all the possibleinformationandguidancerequired.

Academic Partnerships: We have already entered into severalpartnerships with CIMA, CASE, and International Strategic Businessconsultants (Pvt.), Generic Planet, National Testing Service-PakistanandRozee.pktoallowstudentstofurthertheiracademicstudieswithminimal of difficulty. We recognize that these partnerships areimportantforbothstudentsandtheBusinessSchoolandwillcontinuetoenterintopartnershipsthatcreatevalueforallinvolved,aswellasmaintainandstrengthenexistingpartnerships.
b. Business: Business partnerships provide the foundation for theUniversity’sadvisoryboardandprovideaccessforstudentinternshipsand job placement opportunities. We currently have signed MOU’swithInternationalStrategicBusinessconsultants(Pvt.),GenericPlanetand ICMAP. In order to maintain a marketable curriculum and toprovide real-world experiences for students, the university willcontinuetodeveloprelationshipswithlocalandinternationalbusinessleaders.
c. Community:An importantaspectofstudentandfacultydevelopmentis learningtoservethose inourcommunity.Tothisend,westrivetoestablish partnerships with organizations in the community that willallowbothfacultyandstudentstheopportunitytobe involved inthecommunity and serve our neighbors. So farwe have joined hands inpartnershipwithWCLAPandintendtojoinmanymore.Inadditionweare an active member of many campaigns like Blood donationcampaign, Traffic Rules campaign, Plantation – Go Green campaign,
Human Rights Awareness campaign, and WWF (World WildlifeFoundation – International ECO Internship Program). In creatingcorporate social awareness we realize our role and play our part bycelebratingPinkRibbonDay,CleanlinessDay,Resolutionday,andWalkagainstTerrorism.

Understanding the need of the hour we are alsopreparingourselvestothemeetthechallengingexternalenvironmentandtoimprovethequalityofeducation.
a. PERN: It is a digital access to the online library of national andinternational journals andbooks. Itnotonly improves theavailabilityandqualityofliteraryworkbutalsoimprovesthequalityandquantityofresearchworkbyboththestudentsaswellasthefacultymembers.
b. ERP andMoodle: An ERP system is a single software solution whichintegrates accounts, personal, inventory as well as human resourceandallotherdepartmentsunder theumbrellaofonesinglesoftwarewhichwillcollect,storeandmanagedatafromdifferentdepartmentsof the university including admin and accounts department and byusing data will help the higher authorities in decision making anddefine the future strategy of the institute. This is a step towardsDigital/Automatic automation for LahoreGarrisonUniversity.Moodleis a technology based system that can be accessed through theinternet that has all the subject related material and direct contactwithteachersandprovidingassignmentsetc.whichwillbeateasefor
thestudentsandteachersaswell.AfewexamplesofthefunctionalityofourERPsystemwillbeasfollows:
i. Automating Processes: Advanced ERP solutions have manyoptionsforstreamliningdepartmentalproceduresandreducingreliance on manual processes, saving both time and money.Betteraccounting,billingandreconciliationfromanERPsystemoften contribute to a reduction in the number of days foraccounts receivable, while improved inventory managementleadstohigherturnoverandreturnonassets.
ii. Enterprise Analytics: A graphical, user-friendly interface withtrend analysis and exception reporting replaces pages offinancial information, and a clear, top-level dashboard view iscriticaltoeffectivelymonitorbusinessperformance.
iii. IntegratedHRM:AtraditionalHRMoperatingseparatelytoERPmissesmanyopportunitiesprovidedbyanintegratedsolution.Itis now possible to fully integrateHRM in amore dynamic andreal-time way to your traditional ERP transactional systemdeliveringtheultimategoalofasingleviewoftheHRMofficer.Asolutionwithintegratedbest-of-breedHRMandbest-of-breedERP provides the facility to retain and service customersmoreeffectively, at the same time as focusing on growth and newfacultymember’sacquisition.
iv. ImprovedMobility:Mobility ismoving into themainstream. Itsgrowing popularity comes from the ability for workers to usetheir ERP applications on their mobile devices, not just in theoffice.Adminstaffnolongerhastowalktoacomputertoenterdata, and teachers in the class caneasilymaintain recordsandcheck schedules. The ability for users to now access inventoryandstudentinformationandprocessresults,marksandreportswithoutneedingaccesstoacorporatenetworksystemprovidessignificant improvements to service quality, productivity, datacapture,andanincreasedcompetitiveadvantage.
v. IntegratedWeb: University can reduce costs by providing self-service options to enable students to help themselves.With aweb-based self-service portal delivered through ERP, institutewill be now able to offer students and faculty members andadmin 24/7a access to their subjects, classes, material,assignmentsetcwithoutstaffneedingtobeavailablearoundtheclock.AnadvancedERPsoftwaresystemalsoallowsdeploymentof a multi-channel strategy designed for convenience andflexibilityinhowstudentsandteacherswork.Oncethissystemisdeployed,thingswillbecomestreamline.andthecostwillbereducedfortheUniversity.
c. LMS (Learning Management System): Automated time tablegeneratorscanbeusefor thefacultysotheclassestimeslotsdonotoverlap by using the genetic algorithm approach for universityscheduling,byusingthismethodwewillbeabletomakethebestuseofallfacultysubjectdemands,thiswaywewillbeabletosavealotoftimeandcover thecourseeffectively.This softwarewillhelp takeallthe issues LGU is facing at the moment. The LMS system will alsoinclude the timetable system. The time table system will providestudentswithopportunitytochoosetheirownsubjectsofchoiceandtheywill alsobeable to choose the teacherof theirown choiceandchoose the days and classes of their own choicewill using an onlineportalhencereducingtheeffortandcostanddeficiencyofthesystemwhichalreadyisrunninginLGU.Thelearningmanagementsystemwillbeahubforeverythingforstudentsaswellasthefacultymemberstoput on the road map of a course, its material, exercises andassignmentsandevenwillbeabletocommunicatewiththeirstudents.On the other hand students will be able to access, choose theirsubjects of choice which are being offered as well as download theroadmap,coursematerial,seetheirassignments,completethemanduploadthembackonitonrequireddates.Theywillalsobeabletotalkto other students as well as their teachers and can get help inassignments and course from their online tutors. This will bring
revolutionarychange inLGU.Ourplan is to implement thissystem inLGUincomingyear.

Wewill continue to build financial and resource strength. In the face of achallengingeconomyanddecliningfinancialsupportfromtheStateandtheFederal government, we will continue to raise funds through graduatestudent enrollment, professional and executive education. These fundswillbe used to fill ourmost pressing needswith awish list including a desiredexpansionoftheexistingbuilding,anadditionalofficebuildingoncampustohouse faculty, additional faculty, and a scholarship fund to supportexperiential educational activities, and additional professorships andresearchfunds.
