Enjoy Almaden Lake Park like you never had! Join us this summer for an outdoor recreation experience filled with science, nature, sports, arts and crafts, and exciting field trips. Campers will enjoy paddle-boating, bocce ball, beach volleyball, horse shoes, hiking trails, and fishing. Learn about sports, teamwork, animals, and the environment while making new friends. *Activities subject to change Instructor: Recreation Staff Location: Almaden Lake Park

Extended care is a great option for families. After each camp day, campers will have time to both play and relax in a supervised, fun, and comfortable environment. Participate in art and cooking projects as well as play games with your fellow campers and leaders. Almaden Lake Conference Room

We have added an extra hour of BMX fun! BMX Camp at Calabazas Park is designed for BMX/Mountain Bike riders of all levels and abilities. BMX campers are able to improve abilities in the areas of speed, consistency, and tricks. Instructors will teach and demonstrate tricks at the riders own pace and will help campers progress to the next level. Instructor: Recreation Staff Location: Calabazas BMX Park

Skyhawks Beach Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled camp at Almaden Lake Parks volleyball court. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercise that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. This co-ed program is designed for the beginner to intermediate player and will incorporate essential life-lessons such as teamwork and sportsmanship. Our volleyball staff will assist each athlete in developing the fundamental of the game through game based drills and daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole play.

Skyhawks Track & Field combines technical development, fundamentals techniques, and safety with a major focus on fun! Using special equipment, our staff teaches the fundamentals of body positioning, stride, proper stretching, and cool-down techniques. Participates put it all together for one fun-filed day at the Skyhawks track meet! All participates receive a t-shirt and a merit award. Participates should wear appropriate clothing and running shoes; bring two snacks, a water bottle, and sunscreen. *Activities subject to change
