In Our 50th Year

It goes without saying, our maintenance crew plays a keyroll in the overall operations of the LSLCA. They not onlyoversee the maintenance and repairs to the clubhouse, beaches, marinas, and common grounds, but they do allthe log/debris clean-up in both lakes, work with the cityon special projects, service a fleet of vehicles/boats, andset-up/tear-down for all our special events… and the list

of invaluable services goes on and on.

At the center of all this activity is Donnie Harrell – who is no stranger tohard work. Donnie grew-up on his family farm in Troy, MO, which he stilloperates today. He started his career with the CA in June of 1972 as aseasonal equipment operator. With a talent for preserving and enhancingphysical assets, Donnie was promoted to the Directors position – a title hehas held for the last 30 years. If you have met Donnie, you know first handthat he has a wealth of knowledge and information about the CA. In fact, his familiarity of silt ponds, machinery, breaker boxes, and operating largeequipment will simply blow you away. As Donnie continues to ensure ourcommunity looks pristine, functional and enjoyable, we want to thank andexpress our appreciation for all that he does and for his years of dedicatedservice.
