Duties include preparing specimens and chemical solutions, culturing live organisms including bacteria, maintaining and operating laboratory equipment, proper handling of hazardous materials, and ensuring the laboratories and prep areas are well stocked and organized. Must be flexible, energetic and a team player. A Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or Microbiology is required but a Master’s degree is preferred; experience with molecular biology is also preferred.
