Castleton State College is seeking applications for the position of
Custodian/Housekeeper II to clean and perform routine
housekeeping and maintenance of campus buildings, including
residence halls, classrooms, and administrative offices; to serve as a
team leader for a small crew of custodial/housekeeping staff, and/or to
coordinate/carry out a specialized custodial/maintenance function.
High school education is desirable. One to two years of relevant
commercial/institutional custodial experience. Physical ability to do
heavy custodial work required. Valid Driver’s License.
This is a full-time position and is included in the VSCSF Bargaining
Unit. The salary for this VSC Grade 5 position is $18,825.00
annually, plus 2nd shift differential rate, plus an excellent benefit
package. Shift schedule of 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM Monday – Friday.
This position requires the candidate to undergo a “post-offer/pre-
