Wanting a brighter, whiter smile? At Lakeside Dental Clinic we offer the

Whitening For Life program. We have introduced the Whitening For Life program into our office

to reward you, our loyal patients and brighten your smile for the lowest fees possible. The program is a bit different than our previous whitening options of Zoom and Day White tray systems. We still offer Zoom Whitening in the office for those that require a very quick result. With the Whitening For Life system the same whitening effects take place but it is designed to minimize sensitive teeth and save you substantial money. We will take high quality impressions and provide you with custom bleaching trays as well as bleaching gel at a 60% price reduction. At each of your 6 month cleanings we will give you a touch up kit at an 80% price reduction. It is this continual touch up over time that really makes the whitening effect work.

This works out to $199* for initial set up and only $5 for extra bleaching gel at future appointments.

In order to qualify for the touch up kits at this price you simply have to keep your six month preventative visits current. If you need to cancel or change an appointment we ask that you give us 24 hours notice. *A portion of the profits are donated to Breast Cancer Research.

1. If your dog hasn't received a dental exam, take him to the vet first! He may require a cleaning, and then you can maintain his clean teeth at home.

2. Create a regular dental care routine at home. For example, you can brush your dog's teeth with special canine toothpaste.

3. Never use human toothpaste or mouthwash. They can make your dog sick.

4. Start early! Grown dogs can learn to become comfortable with brushing, but make things easier for yourself by working with your dog as a puppy.

5. Take your dog to the vet if you see signs of dental problems:

- Bad breathe - Change in eating or chewing habits - Pawing at the face or mouth - Depression - Excessive drooling - Misaligned or missing teeth - Red, swollen, painful or bleeding gums - Yellowish-brown tartar crust along the gum line - Bumps or growths within the mouth - Discolored, broken, missing or crooked teeth

6. Aggressive chewing on hard objects can cause broken teeth. Make sure you are providing safe objects for your dog to gnaw on.

7. During your dog's annual check-ups, make sure your veterinarian takes a good look at his or her teeth to keep an eye out for any issue you may miss. *From www.cesarsway.com

Thing to watch for in the office during the next few months and into the new year…

New laser that can cut tissue without freezing.

New computer program that will show you the “after” result of certain cosmetic

procedures “before” you under go any cosmetic work.

New orthodontic technique that can move teeth in 6 months and does not use

silver (Ugly Betty) type braces. Advantages are that it is more efficient at moving

teeth and its less costly than Invisalign. Also, no need for a separate specialist as it

can be done in the office.
