Wall mounted designsThe same advanced technology that makes then indoor unit so compact also makes it powerful, yet extremely quiet, and kind on energy costs.

Floor standing unitsThey can even be semi-recessed into wall. The units use either top and bottom discharges with wide-angle louvers and top discharge auto-swing to efficiently distribute air right across the whole area.

Under ceiling/floor unitsThe clever design of these units allows them to go either on the floor or attached to a ceiling, offering flexibility and variety to our extensive range of air conditioners.

Daikin’s advanced technology includes many innovative and patented features that are designed to make our units quieter, more energy efficient and easier to control. An easy-to-operate remote control and programmable settings help to ensure the temperature in your home is just the way you like it.

Daikin inverter air conditioners are more powerful, however, they are also more energy efficient than conventional non-inverter models. Conventional air conditioners operate at a fixed speed, delivering a fixed amount of cooling and heating. While trying to maintain a set temperature they operate on a stop/start principle.

Multi Split Systems2A Multi-Split system can air condition from two to nine rooms using only one outdoor unit, and allows individual control of the air conditioning in each room. This not only optimizes comfort but saves on running costs as wastage is eliminated by only air conditioning rooms as and when required.

Super MultiThe high-capacity Super-Multi outdoor unit is powerful enough to drive up to 4 indoor units. This solves the problem of limited installation space for the outdoor unit.

An outdoor unit can be connected to any class indoor unit from 2.5 kW to 6.0 kW. The total capacity of the indoor units that can be connected is between 11kW to 15.5kW depending on the model of the outdoor unit.

Super Multi PlusThe powerful 14.5kW Super Multi Plus system can air condition up to 9 rooms from one outdoor unit, all with individual control.

The total capacity of the indoor units that can be connected is between 7.5 kW and 18.9 kW. Indoor units range from 2.5kW to 7.7kW and are available in six types.

How often do I clean my air filter?A general indication is when the filter light flashes. But depending on the environment or the air purity, in a normal domestic situation once every season is adequate. In a commercial situation, once every month.

I’ve cleaned my air filter but the light won’t go off?You will need to press the reset button. On wall splits and floor consoles you will need to remove the grille to find the reset button. With ducted, light commercial and commercial situations the reset button is on the controller.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I switch my air conditioner off at the power point or at the fuse box?It is OK to turn the power off, especially if you are away for long periods. Most units have a low wattage crankcase heater that keeps the compressor warm. If the compressor is cold, damage will occur at startup. If you turnoff your air conditioner it must be turned on at least 12 hrs before use.

I have a ducted air conditioner and the air only comes out in part of the house?Ducted systems can be designed so that only parts of the house (zones) can be air conditioned at a time. Check that the zone switch is turned on.

The unit won’t switch on and the green (or red) operation lamp is flashing?Please contact us.

During the heating cycle, a white mist is expelled from the outdoor fans?During winter, most air conditioners defrost when the outdoor temperature is below 6°C. This mist is normal, it is only warm water vapour being expelled.

How can I save energy when using my Daikin air conditioner?The following tips will ensure your Daikin air conditioner is both comfortable and economical all year round: During hot weather, turn your air conditioner on early rather than working

it harder once your home warms up. Adjust the louvres on split system air conditioners so they disperse air

downwards when heating and upwards when cooling. Clean the air filter regularly. Check the energy star labels on your air conditioner – the more

stars, the more energy efficient.
