Lakeview Playground FundA fund of the Ridley Educational Foundation Dear Ridley Park Community Member, The Lakeview Elementary Community is bringing a brand new playground to our campus and we invite you to help make it happen! We seek to involve children in the mental, physical, and emotional benefits of play with others, providing everyone who makes up the Lakeview Elementary School community a space to be active and have fun! Originally installed in 1993, the equipment in our existing playground is safe; however, it is old, unsightly, and in need of an update. As a result, the Lakeview Elementary Administration and Home & School Association, in conjunction with Ridley Educational Foundation, has developed a plan to procure a new, engaging, and safe playground. Our new playground will feature exciting climbing, sliding, balance and stability equipment designed to challenge kids. A high quality, modern playground doesn't only benefit the students of Lakeview Elementary School, but our greater Ridley Park and Ridley Township neighborhood as well. Hundreds of families have grown up on our playground. In the evenings and on weekends, the space is frequented by grandparents bringing their little ones to play and young families spending time together. Working together, we can make sure this vital community resource a gem of our neighborhood. The Lakeview Playground Fund campaign is led by a team of local parents, school administrators, teachers, students, and other local citizens. We welcome your questions and input and are always looking for volunteers to help with events and facilitate new donations. A gift to the Ridley Educational Foundation Lakeview Playground Fund (501c3) is tax-deductible, but you should always consult with your own tax professional to evaluate your personal situation.
