WHERE IS L’ALDEA? L‘Aldea is a little town in the

Catalan region situated in the South of Catalonia. There are 4.530 people living here. Near L’Aldea, there are a lot of little towns and all together we’ve got a hospital and a high school.

WHAT CAN YOU DO IN L’ALDEA? You can meet your friends. You can go cycling. You can go to the beach You can visit the Delta de L’Ebre. In April and August we celebrate the

festivals. At the weekends we walk on the

mountains. In the Ebre river you can do canoeing. You can see the “gegants” of L’Aldea.

FESTIVALS OF L’ALDEA: The most important festivals last 9 days and

they are celebrated at August. In the bullring the bulls run and the people run after them. At night, we put fire at the horns of the bulls and we turn off the lights of the bullring. Some days, we do fireworks and the poeple watch them.

PLACES TO VISIT: The tower of L’Ermita The Wind Museum (El Museu del Vent). The beach of L’Ampolla. The cathedral and the castle of Tortosa. The natural park of Delta de L’Ebre.
