WHAT IS COMPACT LAMINATE?

Laminex® Compact laminate is a decorative panel designed for a broad variety of uses both vertically and horizontally. Its inherent strength and durability is due to thermosetting resins, homogeneously reinforced with cellulose fibres and manufactured under high pressure and temperature. As such, panels are self-supporting, moisture resistant and durable.

Available in a range of decors from the Laminex laminate range, Laminex Compact laminate is perfect for design driven applications. Panels have a black core, that when machined, present a distinctive

black edge that serves as a unique design feature.

WHERE CAN IT BE USED?With machinability similar to hardwood, usage options for Laminex Compact laminate are virtually endless. These include shower and toilet cubicles, interior wall linings, café tabletops, laboratory worktops, lockers, furniture, decorative screens, cabinets and kitchen benchtops.

The standard panel thickness is 13mm with variants from 6mm to 25mm available for special applications.

HOW DOES IT PERFORM?Laminex Compact laminate is beautiful in appearance and can take rough treatment. It has high scratch, wear, stain, moisture and impact resistance, all backed by a 10 year limited warranty. So when quality and durability are a must, look no further than Laminex Compact laminate.

MINIMISE WASTEThe standard sizes of Laminex Compact laminate are well adapted to practical requirements so that cutting waste is kept to a minimum. Combined with the standard thicknesses, they offer economical optimisation for any project requirement.

WORKABILITYStandard tools for hardwood can be used for machining or processing such as sawing, drilling and routing. Neither the surface nor the sawn edges need to be protected or sealed. Panels will present a distinctive black edge.

CARE AND CLEANINGThe non-porous surface is easy to clean. For general cleaning of standard interior applications, household cleaners, water or soap are recommended. The use of abrasive or polishing materials should not be used.

Laminex® Multipurpose Compact laminate performs with exceptional wear, impact and abrasion properties. It’s an economical option that is easy to clean and with an antimicrobial surface offers extra peace of mind. This GREENGUARD® Certified product includes 16 stylish decors from the Laminex laminate range, enabling easy integration with the rest of your interior design.
