The proposed event is:1. Fun!2. Welcoming and open to all.3. Activates a public space.4. Is well defined with a clear

plan and purpose.

Keys to Success:

•Grantees deliver programming; LAND studio supports logistics, artist and vendor identification, payment, permitting, promotions, etc.

•Events work well with local artists who know and are part of the community.

•Cross promotions of events is a win - win.

•Take tons of photos; social media is our friend.

•Inform Fourth District of your event(s).

Funding Logistics

LAND studio can fund one proposal per event. Multiple community members working on a single event should coordinate a single proposal.

LAND studio will pay vendors directly. When this is not possible, funds can be reimbursed upon submission of receipts and an itemized invoice.

LAND studio will reimburse expenses incurred via CASH, CHECK, or CREDIT CARD ONLY.

Excellent financial record keeping is essential. Itemized purchases, clear receipts, and invoices are a requirement for reimbursement.

Invoices and/or reimbursement requests must be submitted within 30 days of the funded activity.

Funds spent on items not included on initial proposal must be approved by LAND studio, and cannot exceed awarded amount.

- Application for funding due Friday April 10th

- Optional meetings with staff by appointment March - April - Awards announced mid-May- ONGOING Event Planning, Promotion, Implementation June through October
