Information Board
Rectangle created one meter from the ground –this will form the main board (Dimensions –1200mm x 1200mm)
Shape was extruded 40mm (width).
Frame was constructed by drawing the profile andagain extruding it 40mm.
This frame was given a ‘fillet’ to curve the outer edge.

Steel Supports
Spline to form basis of the legs.
Two circles created, snapping the centre to the ends of the splines.
Loft tool used to create the 3D legs. The two circles forming the cross-sections and the spline forming the path the loft will follow.
Additional detail was added –where the board is attached to the legs.

Method of Construction
Board cover
The profile was created using two splines and two lines.
These were connected using the ‘Region’ tool which unifies the linesand creates a surface between them.
This surface was then extruded the desired distance.
The detail was created by subtracting 3Drectangles which intersected the mainstructure. Board detail

Method of Construction
Fixing details
These fixings where created by makingcopies of the board and the roof and usingthe ‘subtract’ tool to remove the ends of thefixings I did not need.
This method ensures that the fixings are trulytouching the edges of the holding surfaces.

Photomontage 1
Created by saving the render as a .tiff with alpha which enables the renderto be isolated in Photoshop.
In Photoshop the render was placed in the scene, a shadow added which climbsthe wall (see Photomontage 2 also).
