‘I have set myself the challenge this week to tidy and organise an area of the house that I would normally forget about. I have chosen to organise my wardrobes because I hide my clothes inside them and never see it! That means I normally ignore how disorganised it is. Your challenge is to do the

same. Choose one area of the house which you would normally leave messy or disorganised and fix it! Imagine how much this will help you and your family. Post a before and after picture on Google Classroom if you can.’ – Mrs Bridgeman

Once you have done those, choose an animal (not humans) and research its lifecycle. Draw and label the life cycle of your animal, including any details you found from your research.

Here is an example one about the life cycle of an amphibian:

Thursday - Art

As we are stuck at home, I have created a unit of Art work that you can do from your window.

The final piece you are going to create over the next few weeks is a collage of different textures that represents what you can see from your window. You can choose to do is as an exact image of what you can see from the window or make it interpretive and show the scene in a more abstract way. However, the series of activities remain the same.

As you will be going outdoors there is a series of things you will need to remember:

1. Practising good hygiene (washing your hands after being outside and keeping hands away from your face)

2. Checking the environment is safe for you to work in (this will involve having an adult check the area is appropriate)

3. Making sure you are in view of an adult and not touching any plants that might be harmful.

Activity 2: Drawing different textures to practise the skill of noticing textures within a scene. Again, I would use a pencil (either a usual pencil or coloured pencils) as it is hard to get the detail with a pen. You will need to either recreate or print the sheet.
