markets. The company is a subsidiary of L'Oreal, which maintains a work force of more than 67,000 employees in over 130 countries.
Founded in 1953, L'Oreal USA maintains a work force of nearly 7,500 employees. The company’s products are available under the Bio-
Medic, Biotherm, Cacharel, Dermablend, Drakkar Noir, Garnier, K rastase and Kiehl's brands.
This manufacturing plant produces 5,200 SKUs and 155 million units per year of Lancôme, Ralph Lauren, Kiehl’s, European Designer
Fragrances, La Roche-Posay, and Dermablend. It ships these products across the US with 21% of the units exported to Australia, Latin
America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Piscataway has received the NJ Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Award for 2003,
and in 2004 was awarded the Chamber of Commerce Employer of the year. It was awarded OSHA’s VPP Star Status for excellence in
safety and has its ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 certification.
