· St. Ann's Shops RebrandSt Ann’s is one of the oldest hospices in the UK, helping patients who are affected by life limiting illnesses. Their care is free of charge but in turn, St Ann’s Hospice has to raise £16,000 every day so their specialised staff can provide the highest quality care. There are 14 St. Ann's charity shops throughout Greater Manchester, selling an array of donated items and new goods, and the income generated by them is incredibly important to the sustainability of the hospice.

New identity and pattern

The shop branding followed the general hospice branding, and had been in place for over 10 years. Charity shops have changed a lot in this time so there was a need to keep up to date with the current trends and continue to attract shoppers of all age ranges.

The insight behind the shop's rebrand was the heartfelt approach of its employees, who provide hand tailored care to each individual person. The hospice is made of all the people who have dedicated themseves to improving the patients' quality of life. Thus, we brought this selfless investment to the branding, by introducing the handmade textures and new colour palette.

· PackagingIn August 2016 I was asked to come up with packaging ideas for three new ranges of wine. These were a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, an Italian Pinot Grigio and a Spanish Rioja. The three creative briefs were vastly different from one another, and the work resulted in an interesting mix of illustration, photography and collage.

"Culaccino" stands for the wet ring mark left behind by a cold glass on a table. The label is meant to be a play on its name, but also bring forward the very fashionable nature of this wine.

Rioja Tempranillo, Spain

"Manos y Tierra" translates to "Hands and Earth", and it's meant to suggest the organic manufacturing process of this particular range.

· PromoWildcat is a concept I used for self promotion, in the shape of a fictitious beer brand split into three 'small batches', each with different characteristics and style. Why beer? Because it's a conversation starter, and I've used it as a way of introducing myself to some of the most renowed Creative Directors in Manchester. The feedback I got was amazing, not just in person but also on social media, and it made my work memorable for all the right reasons.

The Style Batch

The first out of three limited edition batches of Wildcat Brew is focused on style, as I like keeping up with trends as much as I like thinking about concepts. I’m comfortable wearing multiple hats (although I prefer the crown), it all depends on the nature of the project, and that’s where my versatily as a designer comes in handy.
