The Leading Engineering Education for the Future in Los Angeles (LEEF-LA) Project at Los Angeles Southwest College (LASC), funded by the Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration, seeks to raise the technical skill levels of local workers so they can obtain or upgrade employment as engineers.

LEEF-LA is currently seeking employer partners to offer internship training programs to entry-level and experienced engineers. LEEF-LA is able to pay for 10-week, 400-hour internships for participants at $17 and $30 per hour for entry-level and experienced engineers, respectively.
