The greatest challenge we face today is staying current with the rapid advances in laser & aesthetic skin therapy. Our patients demand for such services has resulted in the need for physi-cians to be better educated and trained on safe and effective practices. Few meetings exist for those who practice laser and aesthetic skin therapies that are not sponsored by industry. The course objectives will emphasize new techniques and technolo-gies while also critically evaluating current treatment practices, free of commercial interference from industry. Clinical endpoints and laser safety will be emphasized as well.
Participants will leave the course understanding new treatment paradigms with lasers, embrace emerging technologies such as non-invasive treatment of fat and understand why some of the current practices are irrational or based upon weak evidence. This will be a critical, well-informed, clinically relevant course. Proper patient evaluation and proper aesthetic techniques will be emphasized.The information will be presented by our senior faculty and clinicians as lectures, workshops, panels, and questions and discussion.
