Abstract
The objective of this study is to maximize the productivity by improving the productivity of automotive parts of pilot plant. The researchers have found the problem that the product does not meet the stated goals.
Therefore, the researchers use the industrial engineering technique such as studying the work of how to increase production by using KAIZEN principle and how to use the efficient tools (QC 7 Tools) and so on. To
do this is for analyzing the ways to improve efficiency in the production process as mentioned above. The
study process is divided into 10 steps by studying the production process and analyzing the losses occurred during the production process. The researchers found that the machine was operated discontinuously

because the machine had only one support for placing product and the machine must be stopped so that the
operators could place the product on the support. Those procedures have consumed a lot of time in
producing process. It has affected to the production which cannot meet the stated target. Thus, it must always be produced in overtime. The results showed that the production time, production volume, cost and
machine efficiency before improving, the average was 283.92 second/ piece, 15.38 pieces/hour, 213 Baht/piece and 72.01% respectively. After improving, the production rate was decreased to 196.96
second/piece, the production volume was increased to 23.63 pieces/hour, cost was decreased to 148.38 Baht/piece and the machine efficiency was increased to 100%.
