Payments & OrderingAll prices displayed are in T.T. Dollars and all payments must be made in T.T. dollars. Catalogue prices are for estimate purposes only, and exact pricing for each order will be determined after receipt of artwork. Pricing is subject to change without prior notification.

Orders require a 50% down payment of the order invoice, unless otherwise stated or in event of other agreed payment terms. The balance of the invoice must be paid in full prior to or on the date of delivery. To ensure timely order processing we recommend payment by cheque or direct deposit to our bank account. Payments are to be made to Laser Magic Designs Limited, without any deduction or discount other than as stated in these Terms or in the relevant invoice or statement. Please contact us if you prefer to pay by certified cheque, company cheque or direct deposit with proof of payment.

As a precaution, please note that all funds must be cleared before orders are processed and may delay your order. For estimated charges (e.g. freight) adjustments will be made and invoiced or credited accordingly.

Corporate AccountsAll custom orders must be prepaid in full or within 30 days of completion of order. For orders that are not prepaid in full a 50% down payment must be made to secure your order.

Production, Scheduling & DeliveryCustom orders usually take 10-15 working days to produce (Mon – Fri excluding holidays), after all approvals including proof if applicable (shipping time not included). For items that require extra procurement period orders typically take 15-30 working days to produce. Rush orders can


usually be accommodated but may be subject to additional charges. Please inquire about our rush service availability and options when placing your order. Orders must be collected or accepted within ten (10) days of being notified of their availability.

If the items are not collected within thirty days of being notified of their availability, the Company may terminate this contract, keep the deposit and resell the Goods. Goods can also be delivered in whole or in instalments with charges applied accordingly to the order. Once an order is delivered the Customer must not refuse to take delivery of the Goods. Any failure on the part of the Company to deliver instalments within any specified time, does not entitle the Customer to repudiate the contract, with regard to the balance remaining undelivered. All reorders will be billed based on the quantity reordered, and at the pricing in effect at the time of processing by Laser Magic Designs. Please inquire for further details on current pricing on items.

Changes & CancellationsNo order may be cancelled, modified or deferred without the prior written consent of the Company (which is at the Company’s sole discretion). If such consent is given it is, at the election of the Company and subject to the Company being reimbursed all losses, including loss of profits and paid a cancellation fee (being not less than 20% of the

invoice price of the Goods). Changes and cancellations to orders may incur fees as determined on a case by case basis. Customized special orders and some other types of orders are non-cancellable. Please inquire for details.

ArtworkArtwork must be proofed and payments received and cleared prior to the processing of any job. Original artwork or designs created or provided by Laser Magic Designs Limited, remains the property of Laser Magic Designs and is for one time use only, unless otherwise agreed. We maintain the use of any corporate symbol or logo, slogan and any other intellectual property are for one time use unless otherwise agreed.

our catalogue, or on the website and will be provided upon request. We reserve the right to substitute items of equal or better quality in the event of shortages to ensure prompt delivery.

Design & Promotional Credit We reserve the right to reproduce, publish and display designs, products, etc. (deliverables) in any medium (e.g. portfolios, websites, social media sites, show rooms). The purpose would be for recognition or professional advancement, and to be credited with authorship of the deliverables in connection with such uses.

Claims, Adjustments & Returns Legal and beneficial ownership of the Goods will not pass to the Customer until such time as the Goods have been paid in full in cash or cleared funds. The Goods are entirely at the risk of the Customer from the moment of delivery to your (Customer’s) point of delivery or collection, even though title in the Goods has not passed to you at that time.

Our team is dedicated to your satisfaction and the successful completion of each order. In the event of any question or problem with your order please contact us immediately. All claims must be received within seven (7) days of delivery. Unless you have inspected the Goods and given written notice to the Company, within the specified days (7) after collection or delivery that the items do not comply with the relevant specifications or descriptions, the Goods are deemed

to have been accepted in good order and condition. Based on the nature of custom products we do not accept returns for custom products (engraved, etc.), as such all custom orders are considered Final Sales. If you believe there was an error or some part of was not produced correctly, you must contact us within seven (7) days. We will work closely with you and our suppliers and manufacturing partners to resolve the matter.

In event it is determined that there was a manufacturing, or material defect with your order we will issue you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and additional instructions. ALL UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Items that are blank (not engraved) must be returned within ten (10) days of delivery. These items would be subject to a restocking fee of 15-25% of total order plus the cost of shipping. Special orders, discounted items and all other specified orders are not returnable and are considered final.

Claims for damages in transit must be made with the individual carrier. We will always inspect each item carefully before accepting or upon delivery. However if there appears to be any visible signs of damage to the product or if the packages are open, broken or appear to have been tampered with please make a note of this and contact our staff immediately. Be sure to save all delivery notes and receipts.

Warranty All items supplied are covered by such warranties as are specified by the manufacturer and supplied subject to the product standards detailed by the manufacturer.

Acceptance Submitting an order with your signature as approval indicates a conditional acceptance by Laser Magic Designs, of your offer to purchase our products and services as well as your acceptance of our terms and conditions. Our order terms and conditions supercede any terms indicated in your purchase order if one is provided. By receiving and keeping the products covered by this order you accept Laser Magic Designs terms and conditions. You and Laser Magic Designs fully agree that any contract hereby entered into has been made and is to be upheld under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason whatsoever.

Shipping Orders are shipped FOB from their point of manufacture; shipping and any related fees or added services (i.e. insurance, drop ship charges, etc.) will be added to your invoice. Estimates may be given, for shipping amounts listed or quoted on orders due to fluctuations in carrier charges, and will be added or deducted to your invoice accordingly. We reserve the right to choose shipping methods to meet delivery dates and bill accordingly.

We are not responsible for shipping delays, damages, or loss of goods caused by the carrier, customs departments, acts of nature or other external factors. All merchandise becomes the property of the purchaser at the time of shipment. We cannot be held liable for any consequential or special damages arising from any delay in delivery.

Imprinting Processes

Laser EngravingWe have the latest technology for imprinting not only text, but photographic images, logos etc. on any award. Because this process is so precise, laser engraving creates a high quality imprint on crystal, marble, acrylic, wood, and brass, as well as other substrates.

ColourfillColourfill is used to enhance the imprint on an award or plaque. This process is applied using a needle, spray or buff solution. Colourfill is available in a variety of colours – see some examples below.

Deep EtchOur awards can be etched by hand with our sand-blasting procedure. When an etching design is finalized, a special stencil is created, secured to the award surface and is blasted at moderate to high pressure for that quality finish. Sand-blasting ensures visual highlights with frosted, grooved and depth to artwork, leaving a smooth surface on the rest of award.
