Strand 3The Nature of Work: Business and Corporate Philosophies

During this ear, the family unit was strong. The women stayed home and took care of the cooking, cleaning, and children.

During the industrial ear, machines were invented.

During the informational era, technology has become very prevalent. There is easy assess to information

I predict that the fourth wave will be biotechnology. There will be more use of robotic assistance.

Strand 4Theories of learning and education

During the agricultural age, children of various ages were all taught in the same one room school house by one teacher.

During the industrial age, children spent longer hours in school and were grouped according to their ages .

During the information age, teachers are able to use more modern technology when implementing lessons. Children also have more hands on use of technology by using computers, CDroms, and the internet.

During the fourth wave, there will be more virtual learning. The learner will be more self directed and the teacher will serve as a facilitator.

During this age, society depended on the raising of crops and livestock.

During this age, a families status was determined by their class and race.

During this age, suburban communities expanded. Both parents worked or most household consist of a one parent household.

During this age, human communication will utilize more technology devices.
