Law. Like never before.Discover your future in law

“ACU attracts students who are ethical, committed, and passionate about the law.”Professor Patrick Keyzer Dean, Thomas More Law School

Practice power to empower othersWe know there’s more to learning than what goes on in the classroom. The heart of an ACU law degree is standing up for people in need, and for the issues that matter. All our students undertake pro bono placements in law firms, or with leading barristers, community legal centres, non-government organisations (NGOs), government departments, or social justice agencies. We want you to see life through the eyes of others, and be inspired to make a difference. We know that practical experience is important for you, so it’s important for us. Law practitioners and judges are actively involved in all aspects of our courses including teaching

and coaching. Throughout our law programs, you will have the opportunity to get involved in mooting, negotiations, and witness interviewing competitions at local and international levels. We’ll make sure you graduate with advanced legal skills including drafting, advocacy and dispute resolution. We have flexible study options to help balance study, work, and personal commitments easier. These include interactive campus-based learning, midyear entry, summer and winter school, as well as intensive study opportunities. We also encourage you to think globally – and you’ll have the opportunity to

study at our Rome Campus, undertake a pro bono placement overseas or study with one of our more than 200 partner universities around the world.* Our law degrees fulfil the academic requirements for admission to the legal profession in Australia. Professional admission authorities may require law graduates of all universities to complete practical legal training to be eligible for admission. We believe university is for everyone. That’s why we offer a range of scholarships which recognise academic achievement, community participation, and help our students from a range of backgrounds.

* Please note, overseas travel opportunities are subject to public health restrictions in place at the planned time of travel.
