1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 186) Order 2020 under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to:
(a)continue the existing “At any time” waiting restrictions that
are currently in force by virtue of a temporary traffic order
published on 5th November 2018 for parts of roads listed in the
title of this Notice.
2. The general effect of the Order which will come into operation
on 30 July 2020 will be to introduce additional “at any time”
waiting restrictions in parts of the streets listed in the title to
this Notice.
3. Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic the made orders and
plans cannot currently be inspected at the Civic Centre. However,
in line with guidance from the Department for Transport, the
following alterative arrangements have been made:

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of
provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within
the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that
any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant
regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation
to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order
was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

(Amendment No. 186) Order 2020

Coming into operation 30 July 2020
The Council of the London Borough of Enfield, after consulting
the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the
powers conferred by sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9
to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(a) as amended, and of all
other powers thereunto enabling, hereby make the following Order:-
1. This Order shall come into operation on 30 July 2020 and may
be cited as the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction)
(Amendment No. 185) Order 2020.
2. In this Order the expression “enactment” means any enactment,
whether public general or local, and includes any order, bye-law,
rule, regulation, scheme or other instrument having effect by
virtue of an enactment and any reference in this Order to any
enactment shall be construed as a reference to that enactment as
amended, applied, consolidated, re-enacted by or as having effect
by virtue of any subsequent enactment.
3. Without prejudice to the validity of anything done or to any
liability incurred in respect of any act or omission before the
coming into operation of this Order, the Enfield (Waiting and
Loading Restriction) Order 2012(b) shall have effect as though –
(a) for the items numbered 39 (a) (Bury Street), 143 (a) (High Street, Southgate), 168 (Meadway, Southgate), 350 (Moree
Way, eastern arm), 351 (Moree Way, southern arm), 352
(Moree Way, western arm), 620 (Priors Mead), 711 (A)
(Moorfield Road), 720 (Priors Mead) and 1121 (Hunts Mead)
in Schedule 1 to that Order there were substituted the item
similarly numbered and set out in columns 1, 2 and 3 of
Schedule 1 to this Order; and
(a) 1984 c.27 (b) LBE 2012/12
