Overview High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) trans- mission draws an ever increasing interest of TSO in Europe and all over the world. Major developments in technology make HVDC in many cases more reliable, easy to apply and operate, economically affordable. Wider appli- cations are now possible and many projects are under development, making HVDC an even more interesting business than before also for manufacturers and engineering companies. The conference will serve as an International forum for the presentation and exchange of technological advances and research results in the broad fields of HVDC Power Systems applications. The following issues are within the scope of the conference: HVDC operational experience; Outlook of HVDC projects planned and at design or construction stage; Latest (ongoing) and next coming developments in HVDC technology (converter stations, cables, overhead lines); Market perspective. The conference will bring together leading utilities, universities, transmission system operators, consultants, equipment suppliers, and solution providers to help shape the future of power transmission industry. A Technical Exhibition with Industry attendance will be held. Regitration fee on published on the conference website. Submission of PapersWho intend to submit a paper must first register thetitle of the contribution and the name of authors inEDAS (www.edas.info/N25529). The working languageof the conference is English. Subsequently, within thescheduled deadline, submit the full paper (six pages)as PDF following the IEEE layout requirements byusing the template given at the conference web page:https://convegni.aeit.it/HVDC2019 via EDAShttps://edas.info/N25529

The full paper should contain a complete descriptionof the proposed technical contribution along withsome results, suitably framed in the related state of theart. Each paper will be reviewed in terms of relevancewith respect to the scope of the event, originality andquality of the technical content, overall organizationand writing style. All Papers accepted will be includedin the Conference Proceedings. Conference contentwill be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as wellas other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
