closure  and  removal  of  existing  runways,  dredging  of  sand  fill  from  the  Spitfire  Realignment  Channel  for  fill,  construction  of  a  code  C  taxiway  with  Code  B  bypass  holding  bay  and  Apron  expansion,  new  drainage  and  AGL  infrastructure,  including  an  Airfield  Lighting  Equipment  Room  (ALER)  and  Visual  Docking  Guidance  System  (VDGS)  to  parking  bays.

Timber  Bridge  Eliminations,  Rosewood-­‐Chinchilla  QR,  $17  M  • Replacement  of  existing  timber  bridges  on  the  West  Moreton  rail  line,  works  involving  pre-­‐shutdown  preparatory  

works  whilst  under  live  rail  operation;  including  piling,  earthworks,  implementation  of  temporary  propping  designs  and  concrete  structures,  and  bridge  demolition  and  replacement  with  structural  steel  headstocks  and  girders  within  the  scheduled  shutdown  periods.  Design  and  Construct  

Progress  Road  Upgrade,  Wacol  BCC,  $14  m  • The  upgrade  of  Progress  Road  between  Boundary  Road  and  Centenary  Highway.  The  project  consisted  of  the  

widening  of  the  existing  road  to  five  lanes,  the  upgrade  of  the  existing  intersection,  demolition  of  the  existing  box  culvert  bridge  and  construction  of  two  new  multi  span  structural  concrete  bridges,  landscape  works  and  creek  revegetation  works.  

• Extensive  PUP  co-­‐ordination  and  planning  was  also  required  to  relocate  existing  infrastructure  prior  to  works  commencing.  

Waterway  Rehabilitation  Works,  Holland  Park  West  Dept  of  Education  and  Training,  $458  k  • The  project  rehabilitated  and  restored  the  existing  waterway  to  create  a  stable  waterway  through  the  re-­‐profiling  

of  creek  banks,  removal  of  noxious  weeds  and  trees  and  replanting  riparian  zones.  Scrubby  Creek  Bridge  Shared  Bikeway/Pathway  DTMR,  $2.1  m  

• The  construction  of  a  five  span,  60m  long  concrete  bridge  structure  across  a  50m  wide  section  of  Scrubby  Creek,  Kingston.  

Nursery  Road  Special  School,  Car  Park  and  Oval  Redevelopment,  DEPT  of  Education  and  Training,  $1.1  m    • Construction  of  an  88  bay  car  park,  running  track  with  sports  field  facilities  and  a  three  level  steel  disabled  access  

ramp.  Rialto  Street  Chambers  and  Pipe  Works  BCC,  350  k  

• The  installation  of  large  stormwater  pipes  and  in  situ  concrete  construction  of  two  large  stormwater  chambers  with  multiple  network  and  connections  to  improve  the  existing  stormwater  drainage.  The  project  also  included  the  upgrade  to  existing  sewer  lines  between  houses  and  beneath  streets.
