Note there is also some "FOAM" that surrounds the Lens assembly that's not shown here. This foam can slip up and into the Light Path and cause shadows in the bottom corners of the picture. Please see Known Fixes for details.Note there is also some "FOAM" that surrounds the Lens assembly that's not shown here. Identifies the Flex Converter, the Drive PWB, the Audio PWB and the Engine Fan p/n GS00506. There's another fan not shown here that's located on the bottom of the engine. This Fan is the Lamp Fan p/n GS00931. The fans are replaceable. There's a cover (dust filter) over the bottom Lamp Fan that can come loose or be accidentally pushed in and may make contact with the bottom fan. Be careful when installing the new fan so as not to push in this filter. The connectors on the Flex Converter and Drive PWBs must be removed if they leave the Engine Assembly. Some do not. Example: The white flat ribbon cable shown below on the right hand side of the Flex Converter goes down to the Signal PWB. Be careful with this connector as it is fragile. The lock mechanism is also fragile. It simply snaps up to unlock and down to lock. There's a blue strip on the ribbon cable at each end. This blue strip goes away from the contacts and towards the lock mechanism. If too much pressure is applied to the lock mechanism, it may pop off the connector and fall. If you find the lock mechanism is missing, look around inside the cabinet for this brown lock mechanism and re-install. There are many symptoms that can occur when this ribbon cable is loose or improperly connected. See Know Fixes for some details.\This picture shows the engine top view.
