CUISINE
Le Méridien Bora Bora has one of the finest candlelit ambience dining experiences
in Bora Bora at the Le Tipanié Restaurant, of which features themed buffets and
A la carte dinners depending of the day.
At the “Te Ava Restaurant” you will be able to eat with your feet in the sand.
During dinner service, the restaurant offers a menu directly inspired by the
“bistronomie” phenomenon where a traditional quality reveals itself in a new
style. A beach restaurant that looks like a real Tahitian village, for a complete
escape.
With the Hapaina Bar, enjoy the pleasure of an oenological initiation through
more than 100 references of wine. While sitting on contemporary sofas, or
atop a high stool, the wine, champagne, and digestive are tasted in a vibrant
atmosphere, between knowing smiles and a mindful service. To pair your glass
of red, rosé, or white wine, choose from our selection of tapas, made of imported
European products and a Polynesian twist!
You will appreciate the Miki Miki Bar for a sunset cocktail and snacks, thanks
to its original architecture and its ideal point of view to the Otemanu Mont. If
you want to be close to the swimming pool, you will prefer the Pool Bar; the
best place for your daily refreshing drinks and food.

rays, scuba diving and snorkeling, and stimulating sunset cruises, all designed to
showcase the magnificent lagoon. Jeep and quad safaris and four-wheel driving
excursions penetrate the island’s mountainous interior. It is also possible to rent
bicycles or scooters in Vaitape, the island’s main town. Unlock the destination
and allow our timeless island beauty to surround and entertain you all while
immersing yourself in all that is Le Méridien Bora Bora.
TURTLES AND ECOLOGICAL CENTER
Located next to the inner lagoon, the Ecological Center remains unique in its
conception. This project started in 2000 when an injured turtle was brought
by a guest to the hotel as it needed care. The Turtle Center project was born
with the creation of a center dedicated to the protection and care of the local
marine life. Since then, Le Méridien Bora Bora has continuously invested in a
unique program focusing on turtle care and on teaching fauna protection to
the next generations.
In 2012, Le Méridien Bora Bora decided to go one step further and created the
Ecological Center with a coral preservation program where guests of Le Meridien
Bora Bora can come and learn more about this protection center.
The Ecological Center is now open every day and offers a daily visit at 10:30AM
(complimentary to our guests) with a turtles feeding. Guests meet the biologists
who describe their central mission of protection and describe the characteristics
of the local species living in our lagoons and can learn more about Bora Bora
marine life by visiting our different areas such as the touch pool, the museum,
the educational aquarium tanks, and the inner lagoon.
