Production informationEMALIT® EVOLUTION non-visionpanels are designed for use with aback-up wall and are intended to beviewed from the reflective side(external) and not from the reverseside (internal), which has theceramic ink applied to it. If viewedfrom the reverse side, pinholes andan undesirable lack of uniformity inthe ceramic coating will be clearly
evident, which would be consideredas wholly unacceptable by the enduser.
GLASSOLUTIONS will not knowinglysupply EMALIT® EVOLUTION non-vision panels in applications wherethe glass will be viewed from thereverse side or where the panels willbe installed without a back-up
structure. The product is notdesigned for this application.
EMALIT® EVOLUTION is alsodesignated for use with a darkbackground because any kind ofbacklighting can cause pinholes, stripes or clouding to become visible.
Colour tolerances DimensionsSlight colour differences may occurbetween samples and actual projectdeliveries because the product is afusion of colour and glass. As aresult, the self-colour of the glass, its thickness and surface structure
influence colour appearance. Therefore, when colour differencesexist between a sample and actualdelivery it is not considered a defect. The same applies to any colouroverrun on the edges of the glass.
