Garvan Institute of Medical Research Leaders in Science Professor Peter Croucher Director, Osteoporosis & Bone Biology Research Program Garvan Institute of Medical Research “Cancers and the skeleton: A critical role for the environment” MONDAY 23 rd SEPTEMBER, 2013 12PM, NAB AUDITORIUM Host: Professor Don Chisholm Peter joined the Garvan Institute in December 2011 as Head of the Osteoporosis and Bone Program and now leads the Division. Peter’s research interests are in understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms responsible for physiological and pathological regulation of the skeleton. He has a particular interest in osteoporosis and tumours that grow in bone such as multiple myeloma, or those that metastasise to bone, including breast and prostate cancer.
