Who are leaders Are leaders born or made .Who guides common goal showing the way by

exampleLeadership is the ability of a superior to influence the

behaviour of his subordinates and persuade them to follow a particular course of action .

Ability to make his subordinates to work with confidence and zeal

Ultimate leader is ….Leader should have high level of intelligence with

sound educational and technical background Emotionally stable , should not loose temper at any

instant Understand human behaviour , needs , emotions etc

and deal with all people Understand the views of others should not do on his

own way Not only self motivated but also motivate followers

Types – autocratic - Leader makes decisions without reference to anyone else,High degree of dependency on the leader,Can create de-motivation and alienation of staff,May be valuable in some types of business where decisions need to be made quickly and decisively

Democratic – Encourage decision making from different prespective – process of consultation before decision .
