Self-Wetting Adhesive Technology Our ARcare® proprietary optical bonding self-wetting adhesive technology is utilized in our new surface protection film for touch screens and flat panel displays. Self-wetting adhesives enable environmentally robust, high-quality optical bonds with low or no pressure lamination, and permit removability and reapplication.
Dual-Stage Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Systems Our ARcare® dual-stage pressure-sensitive adhesive systems are formulated to be cured by heat or ultra violet light to form structural bonds. This enables strong, yet flexible bonds while providing moisture and oxygen barrier properties important to OLED encapsulation. This technology can also be used for strong, thin bond lines, while eliminating expensive pre-cure fixturing typically seen in voice coil motor magnets or other component bonding in hard disk drives.
Electronically Clean Adhesive Systems Our ARclean® electronically clean adhesive systems are acrylic, acid-free, organotin-free, have low extractable ions, pass leak tests when used as tape seals, and offer excellent resistance to environmental aging. ARclean® adhesive systems provide reliable bonds for seals, labels, filters, and other hard disk drive components, including seals with adhesive-free zones.
Conductive Adhesive Systems Our ARcare® electrically conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive systems feature our patented homogeneous conductive adhesive technology. They offer exceptional bond strength combined with stable conductivity, even under mechanical and environmental stress. Applications include electrical interconnections for low current circuits, splicing conductive materials, bonding electromagnetic interference gaskets, ground plane assembly, and static control for printed circuit boards.
Our ARcare® thermally conductive bonding tapes offer an easy-to-use, clean assembly method for bonding heat sinks to microprocessors, resistors, power supplies, and flexible circuits.
Optically Clear Adhesives Our diverse portfolio of ARclear® optically clear adhesives includes permanent, removable and silicone-based products for the bonding and assembly of flat panel displays, flat screen cathode ray tubes, large and small liquid crystal displays, and touch screens.
